Background

UNICEF Moldova is looking for a Specialist in public health communication (full time)

Objective: to provide technical assistance in planning, implementation and evaluation of activities promoting child and adolescent health and wellbeing.

The specialist will:

  • Provide assistance to UNICEF in development, implementation and monitoring of communication for social change strategies in area of child and adolescents health and well being.
  • Support diversification of sources of information for adolescents in the area of health and well-being, including provision of technical assistance and working in coordination with UNICEF Communication section in development of informational materials, applications and website on health and well-being topics for adolescents and their families.
  • Work closely with international and national experts in planning and conducting capacity building activities for staff of YFHS, including on working with vulnerable and at-risk groups, developing and implementing behaviour change and communication strategies for social mobilisation.
  • Support UNICEF in strengthening the evidence base on addressing adolescent bullying and peer violence.
  • Document good practices and support monitoring and evaluation of YFHS and other partners’ activities, with focus on social change and community mobilisation.
