Background

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) promotes inclusive and sustainable industrial development globally and works in the Republic of Moldova to foster the uptake of Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) methods and techniques in enterprises and other organizations. UNIDO is seeking national policy experts to develop an actionable RECP policy strategy building upon current and planned government policies in the development, industry and environmental domains.

 

The national consultants will analyze current government policy and strategy in three policy domains, map relevance of RECP towards the realization of stated policy objectives and on the basis thereof recommend strategic actions for mainstreaming and scaling up RECP in the country. The assignment is destined for one national expert in macro-economic and development policy, one national expert in industry policy and one national expert in environmental policy, to work individually as well as collectively towards one integrated RECP strategy.
