Background

United Nations Children’s Fund in Moldova is seeking National Individual Consultant to support UNICEF in strengthening the capacities of the Ministry of Health, National Public Health Centre and Health Institutions at district level in promotion of immunization and crisis communication

 

ObjectivesThe consultant will (1) Support the implementation of the Communication and Crisis communication strategies in the area of immunization; (2) Identify and suggest various types of activities to promote immunization and to strengthen the capacities of health professionals on communication with parents/caregivers about vaccines and immunization, and support their implementation, monitoring and evaluation; and (3) Provide support in the area of crisis communication by developing relevant communication tools (communication algorithm; templates for press releases; templates for media statements; lists of resource persons etc.), proposing and conducting capacity building activities in the area of crisis communication and, when necessary, providing technical assistance and coaching in crisis management related to immunization
