International Organization for Migration (IOM), mission to the Republic of Moldova

is seeking for an International Trainer (Expert) on Investigative Response to the Hate Crimes.

Purpose: the IOM mission to Moldova is going to organize one Training of Trainers (up to 2 days duration) in the investigative response to hate crimes in Moldova. The training is being organized in close cooperation with the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) and is supposed to be delivered by the team composed of one International (EU) trainer and one National trainer in the field. The training should be delivered to the Moldavian officials (investigation officers, prosecutors, judges invited by the NIJ as the leading agency in the area of continuous training of the judiciary).

The activity aims at contributing to enchasing due consideration to the human rights of immigrants by the investigations’ officers, prosecutors and judges of the Republic of Moldova through raising their capacity in the area of investigative response to the hate crimes according to the EU standards and best international practice.

The training should provide the attendees with advanced tools as well as new knowledge and abilities for performing their duties related to the state response to this type of crimes.
