Background

UNICEF Moldova is looking for a team of motivated people to contribute to the advancement of child rights in the Republic of Moldova.

If you are 18 or over, have at least an undergraduate degree in social sciences (health; education; psychology; sociology; human rights; journalism; communication; statistics and other related areas), have a good command of English, an academic or professional interest in UNICEF’s mandate and programmes and you are willing to dedicate your time and energy supporting the activity of UNICEF team, apply to volunteer for UNICEF.

As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the situation of children and families and better understand the challenges faced by the excluded and vulnerable groups.
  • Learn about UNICEF activities in the Republic of Moldova.
  • Use your knowledge to support UNICEF staff in planning, implementation and evaluation of activities.
  • Be part of an energetic team of professionals.

You can apply by sending to chisinaurecruit@unicef.org your CV and a letter describing why you want to volunteer for UNICEF, what are your areas of interest and how you can support UNICEF in fulfilling its mandate. Applications must be received by 15 February 2015.

Note: Selected candidates will provide their support to UNICEF for up to 6 months. UNICEF does not provide scholarships, fellowships or grants for volunteers.
