Overview:
UNICEF Moldova invites interested Civil Society Organisations to express their interest in partnering with UNICEF for the implementation of a project “Development of Early Intervention Services for young children with developmental delays and disabilities at the raional level”
Specific focus of the program document should be:
- Support to outpatient care medical institution to establish Early Intervention Services in accordance with Regulation on Early Intervention Services at the rational level;
- Strengthening capacities of health, social assistance and preschool professionals in provision of Early Intervention Services and referral;
- Development of cooperation among local professionals and stakeholders and establish proper referral;
- Provision of supportive supervision to the newly established services;
- Development of the in-service curricula for nurses and doctors on early detection and early intervention services for children with disabilities and developmental delays
- Development of parenting programs for parents/families with children with developmental delays and disabilities.
Raising awareness regarding social inclusion of children with disabilities among professionals and general population.
